Our entire range of pigments maintain their original colour and provide absolute stability against WEATHERING, UV, ACIDS and HIGH TEMPERATURES (up to 1450 °C).
The highly stable crystal structure and chemical inertness gives these pigments excellent fastness properties particularly at high temperatures. These pigments will not flocculate or migrate in organic coatings.
Our mixed metal oxide pigments with SPINEL structure consist exclusively of metal cations and oxygen ions. The compounds are calcinated at high temperatures above 1000 °C and ground to fine particles (wet or dry milling) to a particle size less than 1 µm. The high temperature reaction results in rutile or spinel compounds with excellent chemical resistance and color stability.
